MoGAFF
A few years ago, I got tired of working alone at home, so I messaged a few motion designers based in Ireland and asked if they fancied a few beers in Dublin. About 20 people showed up. Turns out I wasn’t the only one bored out of my mind and looking for a bit of company.
A few of us decided to make it a regular thing, and MoGAFF was born. The group has since grown to over 250 people working in motion design across Ireland and has become a great hub for sharing ideas, jobs, etc. I'm proud to be a part of it. Here's a teaser I made for the first official meet-up.

Genocide
An animation I made a couple of years ago out of anger at what was happening in Gaza, and how it was being packaged, justified and sold to us.
It was surreal watching it unfold, waiting for Europe and America to step in and do something, only to slowly realise just how compromised the whole system seemed to be. The people you'd expect to stand up for human rights were making excuses or looking the other way.
That old Mitchell and Webb sketch, "Are we the baddies?", started to feel a lot less funny.

Brazil: Scractch & Win!
A short animation I made during Bolsonaro's presidency, when the Amazon was being cleared in the name of profit. The idea was simple: turn the Brazilian flag into a scratch card, where the more you scratch for money, the more of the Amazon disappears. With family ties to Brazil, it was something that hit close to home.
